Amalthea Ridge is the combined work of Sarah Wehri and Keyvan Moussavi.
Sarah's primary focus is on protein chemistry, surfactants and micelle formation. She loves to create--she is happiest tinkering in her lab all day making new products and researching ingredient possibilities. Sarah is an avid writer and reader, she is a learning engine and loves to share her findings with everyone in the form of presentations, blogs, and other media. She is also a conceptual thinker is the ability to understand a situation or problem by identifying patterns or connections, and addressing key underlying issues quickly. Sarah has a PhD in Biochemistry from University of Maryland, College Park. She also brings extensive experience in quality assurance and quality control having worked at big pharma.
Keyvan loves working one on one with our customers to find the best products to fit their needs, fielding customer requests, helping Amalthea Ridge live up to its potential and philosophy. He works with customers to determine needs and requirements and together with Sarah identify people, process, and operations to deliver quality products to customers. Keyvan is also a powerhouse in terms of automating processes and building hardware and software solutions for customer facing production needs. Keyvan received his B.S. in Computer Science from James Madison University and received his M.B.A from University of Maryland, Robert H. Smith School of Business.
